It is really happening. I am fifty four years old and I am close to realizing this crazy dream of releasing my first CD.
"Every Day Matters" is scheduled for release soon, but you can purchase your copy now and I will ship it to you as soon as the first copies arrive from the CD manufacturer.
You can purchase your CD with Pay Pal (see below) or by check (make your check out to me and put it in the mail - send me an e-mail or FaceBook message if you need the address). If you plan to see me in person, you can even pay cash!
Your support now would be a great help in financing the reproduction and printing costs for the CD. In return, you will get one of the first copies and I will sign it for you if you like. I will even get any, or all, of the "friends" who have contributed their musical talents to sign it as well.
I've been singing other people's songs for decades, but as recently as two years ago, I hadn't written a thing of my own that I thought was good enough for anyone else to hear. Then I wrote "Every Day Matters" for my sister Christine and the floodgates opened. I have written the lyrics and music for more than twenty songs in the last two years, too many for this first CD, so there will be a second one, I hope.
"Every Day Matters" is shaping up to be ten songs about life and love and loss. The recording is well underway; Phil, Renee and Clark have, of course, played their part but several other friends have recorded tracks as well, and more are scheduled to contribute, Sarah is at work on the cover art, I am writing the dedications, credits, and thank-yous, Len is doing what he always does, supporting every crazy dream I have, Clark is fixing and mixing and it is almost time to send this labor of love off to be reproduced and packaged.
This CD will be dedicated to my sister Christine and I plan to put 10% of the profits from the sale of each CD into a charitable fund set up in her memory.
Here is the in-progress song lineup for the CD. Click on any highlighted song title to hear a live version of the song from our performance at the Joyful Java Coffee house on September 10, 2011. To return to this page after watching a video, use your browser's "back" button.

- Civil Conversation: My political commentary on the divisiveness so rampant in our current political climate.

- 401K: A lament about my constantly diminishing retirement fund
